Is it really just a Valentine's DAY?

I was born in the 19th century. Everyone in our age were born and raised knowing about Valentine's Day.

Valentine's is all about hearts, red, cupid, love, chocolates, gifts, letters dinner dates, roses, and sweethearts. But come what may, it is still special since we celebrate it once a year only.

When I was a preschooler, it was just about red hearts in cards with "I love you" in it. I remember cutting hearts and pasting them in quarter-folded papers. I thought I was the best card-maker in the world since it gives a big grin to whoever I gave it.

In elementary, Valentine's were not about family and friends only. There were charming people of opposite sex involved. It wasn't just about cards then. Gifts were given and received. It was the moment I learned that boys are not just boys.

The charming people complicated things a bit in high school. The cards I used to make are out of fashion now. Gifts are accepted but dates are preferred.

Now, is Valentine's Day really just a day? Though I have not experienced any relationship, I am not naive when it comes to this occasion. During Valentine's Day, many unusual things happen. As far as I know, Valentine's may be just for a day but the memories it brings just stay.

I am pretty sure you have experienced the weirdness of Valentine's Day. I just have a question, is it really just a Valentine's DAY?

"2. Post a poem about yourself. (at least 3 stanzas, 4 lines per stanza)"

It's Always With A J and An M

Just a fourteen year-old girl
Everyone could make me smile
Round the world I would like to twirl
Many things I want to pile

In my heart
No one is above
Except
My God, family and friends

One thing that matters,
Now and forever
I will be happy in whatever
Quest I face, that I swear.

This happened twice!!! If only this wasn't required...

HTML Is Hell

Tim Burners Lee,
I would like to kill thee!
The HTML You invented
Is making me dead

HTML is tiring
It leaves me crying
They say it is fun
But I'd rather be under the sun

HTML is now our subject
If only I could reject
All I could do now is to try
Until I die.
